Faith: believing who God is and believing His promises are true
enduring hope and complete trust in God
believing in God is more than just knowing God exists

Proverbs 3:5-6 all your heart, recognize your own shortcoming
1 Cor 9:24-27: run to attain the prize, with hope and disciple
the people you trust will often let you down; there will be disappointment - God cannot fail
(not they aren’t trustworthy but that they have the great job of pointing people to the God who is always trustworthy because they know they aren’t the focus and the goal - I want to point my kids to Jesus

Why should we place our faith in Jesus?
after we’ve placed our faith in Jesus, what do we have to do to follow Jesus

We have to know him and be able to share your story

How do we hold on to Faith in all the trials and difficulties?

we look to the past; this was his plan, your stories started a long time ago; he chose us

what matters the most? how much Faith did you have? steadfast, constant

Suffering is hard, life is full of trials, God is by my side

Courageous in life; hold on tight to faith
